In Honor of 4/20 I decided to cover Weeds…… of the Herbological Kind & the Mental Kind…… in other words, Plants & Ideas. Whether it’s things that Show Up in your lawn or garden that You Didn’t Plant….. after all, “Weeds” are merely Uninvited Guests and what We are Told are “Weeds” are quite often Very Beneficial…… so I think we should just Let Them Grow & See they Make a Nuisance of Themselves or if they will Play Nice with what was Intended to Grow.

Pretty much the same holds true for the Idea Kind…… They show up whenever you Interact with Others. Their Ideas, whether delivered by conversation or reading a book or article or viewing a video, tend to Plant Seeds in Your Mind….. some you notice right away and some take time to Take Root. What You have to decide is whether the New Thoughts work with your existing Mental Garden….. and if they don’t….. then you need to figure out which works Best. I don’t mind telling you that I’ve done a LOT of Mental Gardening over the years….. and there have been quite a few times when I Realized that I Needed to do a Major REDO……. Basically, I wound up Tilling Up a LOT of Long Held BeLIEfs to make room for the New Ones that Fit Better with what/where I wish to Go/Grow.

My Advice……. Keep an Open Mind when it comes to New Ideas & Perspectives…… You Never Know where they may Lead You!
